Are you ready to take the stage? We are looking for talented performers to join our Junior Theater Festival (JTF) team!
About JTF
JTF brings student musical theater troupes together for an exciting weekend of adjudication, workshops for students and parents, a New Works Showcase, and a grand finale concert featuring Broadway’s best! Troupes perform a 15-minute cut from a Broadway Junior show for feedback from musical theater experts.
How to Audition
Upload a 30-second video cut of a musical theatre-style song to our audition form.

About the Competitions:
JTF (Junior Theater Festival): The Junior Theater Festival is the world’s biggest and best celebration of young people performing musical theater. JTF brings together student musical theater troupes from all over the world for a weekend of musical theater mayhem and madness.
AYTE (Alabama Youth Theatre Experience): A place where young Alabama Thespians can learn, connect, and challenge themselves and each other.
AYTE Competition Team Information:
Our Fall CAST Kidz production of SpongeBob will serve as our AYTE Competition Show!
Participation in this fall class session is required in order to be eligible for the competition team.
At auditions on August 23rd, students will indicate on their audition form whether they wish to perform in the public shows only OR if they would also like to be considered for the competition team traveling on February 12–13, 2027.
Please note: The competition team is selected through audition evaluation. Expressing interest on the form does not guarantee placement on the competition team.
